Need help on this chemistry question!?

First, convert HCl from mLs to grams- 40.00mL x 1.14g/mL= 45.6g HCl. Add this to the weight of the tablet to get 46.928 grams. This is what the solution would weigh if nothing had been lost. The difference between that ideal solution and the solution that actually formed will give you the m in grams of the gas that escaped. 46.928-46.699= .229 grams carbon dioxide. Use the given density conversion factor to convert that from grams to liters, .229g x 1.81 g/L= 0.13L carbon dioxide. I hope that was clear enough! Good luck
