Hernia Or Hemmoroid. I need your help.?

So its been about two months since ive had this problem....And i went to the doctor and said yes i see the hemorrhoid (external)...he prescribed me "proctozone cream" and the first time i applied it, it was heavenly, my excruciating pain stopped and all was well, every time after that it didn't do anything...And at about after the first month a lump formed by my , VERY painful, its hard, and all around a bad thing..then i went back to the doctor and he told me it was an infection and prescribed me antibiotics ("sulfamethoxazole" to be exact) and then the lump started to get smaller and smaller...then...it moved up..it first was at my and is now moved to my upper taint. and is now starting to bleed (very little) and leak pus...I get home from school and there is a mark from the pus about 2x3 inches long..im getting very upset cuz im always in pain and its irritating the hell out of me for 2 months...should i tough it out? go to the doctor? idk what to do...and i really dont want to have him to perform surgery =/
