We are starting our Fungus unit in Biology, can anyone name some things about Fungi I should know to advance?

I don't need to know everything there is to know about fungus, but any facts on fungi which will help me in our future fungi unit would be much appreciated. By the way, if it counts, we learned about threadlike, Imperfect, and Sac Fungi today.
