Who is Prince Caspian from Cronicals of Narnia?

It's been a thousand years since the Pevensies left Narnia, humans have taken over Narnia and the talking animals are being perscuted and are mostly hiding. Caspian's father was the King. Caspian's uncle killed the King when Caspian was a kid and took over as regent for the Prince, but plans to kill the Prince and keep the Kingdom now that Caspian is approaching adulthood. The kids arrive and help him and the talking animals.
