Did Ali having a big head contribute to his ability to take a punch and his superb boxing brain?

I have read that Ali had a large head and had to be pulled out with forceps when his mother was giving birth. There was obviously a big head with a big brain in there lol. Did this contribute to Ali's ability to take a punch and his boxing intelligence or his superior intellect and common sense in general?
