I'm in the DEP with the Air Force. About how long am I going to wait?!?

I went to MEPS, got sworn in, told my recruiter, and he said they would call me. A month later I had changed my number, so I called and let them know (half hoping I would call and they would tell me something). They said thanks for letting them know and they would call me. Another month later I still haven't heard anything from them. I want to know what is going on, if this is usual, and if I should keep bugging the recruiter every new month.
