Is my christian pastor wrong for preaching prosperity and keep the money for himself?

My pastor preaches prosperity that God wants you to be rich and the only reason why Jesus was poor is so you don't have to be. He charges $85.00 for men and women's conference (by the way he does not allow people to have a refund for any reason they can't make the conference) and has a special event every year where people put in as much as they want or use credit to help build more of his churches internationally so he can make more money while he puts nothing in and if he does he gets special bonuses where he earns more to make up for the money he put in . He is a multi millionaire that has a mansion and million dollar yot, he pays the people that work under him just enough to get by and he makes them work really hard.
