Do you try to conserve on fuel in your vehicle?

I'm a hypermiler (look it up). I routinely get 45 mpg out of my 98 Honda Civic hatchback, which I mantain myself. I drive very conservatively, using the brake and gas pedal very carefully. I do it to save money and to cause the least damage to the environment. I get constantly ped by others in much less frugal vehicles, only to find them sitting at the next trafficl light. So it really makes no sense to drive fast in city streets.
