A few questions on highschool please help?

im going to highschool after summer going to be a freshmen >.< excited but scared..have a few questions..if u take spanish in 8th grade do u have to take it again? does athletics require for u to be in a sport? i really dont like playing sports at school.and how do we pick our elctives? pleaase anwser if u know any of these im so scared but im excited! thank you
