Has anyone read Tracy Kidder's "Mountains Beyond Mountains"? I need help for an essay.?

I'm barely halfway through the book, and I have this ignment due tomorrow: "In 300-500 words, write a short essay in which you consider the ways in which Paul Farmer expertise emerges from his insider/outsider status. How does his status create obstacles for him in his work? What does it allow him to achieve?" Any help would be appreciated, especially any quotes from the book that have anything to do with this subject. Thanks!
