I need an interesting person to do a research essay on...?

I have to write a research essay on a person who in someway has effected something. the person has to be living or has died after the year 1979.... i would really like something interesting and the person could be really famous or not....examples are ....miley cyrus, kanye west, mark zuckerberg, hilary clinton.... i would really appreciate the help
