Two Syrians feared dead in Costa Rica?

Due to the worsening economy, Costa Rica has seen a pretty sharp increase in crime over the past several years. The main increase has been in burglaries and non-violent crimes, but when criminals see an easy score, they don't hesitate to take advantage of the opportunity. In San Jose, the capital city, tourists have reported more armed robberies (where nobody gets hurt, they just want the money, camera, cell, etc). Even police shakedowns of tourists are on the rise.
