Why do a lot of Indians most look similar to African American people? Are they biologically related?

Hi there, I live on an Indian Reservation but am white! The Indians here are from the Crow tribe and I guess I honestly do not think that they look like African Americans. Native Americans have such a different color of skin and way different style and texture of hair. What tribe are the Native Americans you see come from? Maybe they are some how related.
