Why does the IRL continue to find ways to push fans away?

Versus is available from Direct TV under their Choice Extra package....I am sure it will cost you more....However as racing viewership seems to be a dropping demographic....IRL probably went With the best TV deal they could get. We are in troubling economic times and I would presume that Brazil offered a lower cost for the same product....Unfortunately this is not the time for protectionist thoughts with the global markets (including the US) in tough shape...you have to save dollars where you can....its just business
